SparBQ is back for 2017! The Michigan HEMA Association, Ars Gladii, and the Michigan Medieval Combat Association present the MiHEMAA Fall event, August 26th 2017. SparBQ is a full-day event featuring classes, open fencing, community building, and, of course, food! Instructors from across the Great Lakes region will be presenting classes for both beginner and intermediate/advanced students about a wide range of topics.

Cost and Registration

The event costs $10, payable at the event. We are asking that participants register online prior to the event so that we can have an accurate headcount for food purposes.

We will be supplying plates and eating utensils, burgers, dogs, buns, and condiments. We ask that participants bring a dish or side to share.

Alcohol can be consumed (within reason) AFTER the close of the official event, 6pm. You are free to bring your favorite libation (21 and over ONLY) and chill out after the event with us.
